A poster depicting three coastal ecosystems and the humans that live in harmony with them.
Habitats of the Coast is inspired by coastal communities in Busuanga, Palawan, where daily life entails stewardship of coastal habitats: mangroves, seagrass, and coral reefs. It is a love letter to the humans I met through my partner nonprofit, Community Centred Conservation (C3) Philippines, which has worked in Busuanga since 2011.
The habitats are featured together on one canvas to show their interconnectedness. The addition of the human element is a meditation on coexistence.
The poster is free for educational use. It can be printed up to A2 size.
